I hope these buds will carry the logo "tuned by AKG".. Cos' it means the audio will ROCK like a HiFi ! but I'll try my chances even if they wont have the AKG ; )

I think the Buds will look and sound great! I understand people want the Buds to look like a pebble as their predecessor but microphones are awful on them. Hopefully this design will make it better for other people to hear you. A stem doesn't make it similar to Airpods because most brands have this design and for a good reason.

Sounds are important for gamers and there can't be any delay just like with wireless mouse and keyboard that still have some delay that affect in reaction time.

So the only difference between the Pro and Non-Pro is rgb lights and 4 hours more with ANC on?!
And in a package that is an exact clone in design and function ad AirPods Pro?! Whomever is in charge of headset design at Samsung needs to be fired like 6mths ago! Along with the executive that approved this!
If Samsung users wanted an AirPods they'd have gone out to buy them!Arrrgh!!

I'm not defending the design change. As a happy xm5 user, the design without stem is good for exercising, considering that you managed to get a good fit in the ear concha.
However, I have used the with stem as well. As long as you managed a good fit, the headphones stay just fine. The only problem is the nozzle. If it's not long enough, then having a good seal and good fit becomes problematic. I especially hate the ones that design the tips location inside the case based on the default tips. When using third party tips, it's hard to close the lid and tws keeps connecting to the device. Had that fit problem with Creative Aurvana and returned it immediately.
I hope Samsung put a good consideration for the design and fit issues that users might be facing.
The reason why they add the stem is usually goes first for microphone. It picks up the voice better comparing it to a mic looking externally outside. They try to locate the mic close to the bottom part in tws without stem and it's still having a hard time isolating yourself voice from the surrounding. By putting it on the bottom of the stem, the chances of picking up the voice increases as it faces a direction towards your chin.
Another reason is usually for a better signal strength.
You're can't squeeze a better battery there due to having MB and other components. They usually gain battery life by using more efficient chips and algorithms.

Great fit, great mic for calling (better than Buds2 Pro!) and with wingtips, the comfort is here.
I use also Buds 2 Pro for music listening and better ANC but depending on the location, I'll use Buds FE ...
It's very convenient to have 2 pairs if Buds too. Like in the past time when we had ... severals wired jack 😅
As for this stem design, I'm not a fan. I really hoped they'd go like Buds+ or Buds FE with wingtips or stayed with Buds 2 Pro design, that was nice but perhaps the design is a cause of the bad mic when calling due to size? 😋

There is like cartoon pictures and people already see everything from them. It's illustrative pictures just to show that black line on the buds.
I dont understand this Members app code as i didnt read out about it in the news and i also needed to look what stems are. Never mind why even care what these look like if they are in ear and not a lot of it sticks out of the ear. I have a wireless on ear but not full cup headphones that are totally black and on the head pand is big white text New Bee. I find it funny like newbie and that was probably what it meant to bee by the brand also.
I live for my self and not for others to care what other people think
