        Yes they did, in camera settings click Intelligent Optimisation and choose Minimum and now images are snapped in an instant.

        Simple as that, you problem is fixed.

              I have the S24U with lot of bugs in the camera and Samsung is worried to add more features instead of solving the existing problems. We still have a beta firmware 6.1 (because of all the bugs it has in the camera) that could become final in August as the usual date for finishing the beta testing stage I experienced in all the Galaxy S phones I had since S21U.

Processing is still very poor ... moreI disagree with people skin processing being bad however there are several issues with the cameras, one of the most annoying issues for me is the horrible 3x telephoto noise in daylight shots, this is unnaceptable for a flagship like this, the image processing for that lens is so bad that if you use it at 3.1x instead of 3x you will actuallu get far better shots, see this thread i posted for more info...

The problem is that those models were really limited in terms of training, modern ones are vastly superior.

                              Most other Chinese phones already done with AI-processing last year.
                              Huawei was probably 1st in 2021, only thing its not all working great on the older phones.

                                They should improve processing time and shutter time instead along with processing. They have gone downhill in 2020s, I had Samsung S10.
