Still waiting for the curved screens cancer to end
Along with the norm of 6.7" era to end as well (without cheap virtual proximity sensor trick)
Till the above is fullfilled then no phone will suffice my needs

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2024not really, worse storage, worse cameras for the same priceThe OnePlus 12R only offers the version with the 256GB UFS 3.1 and 16GB RAM in most places, which is sold for around €600. The other versions are far cheaper and available in limited markets. By comparison, the base version of the Realme GT6 is 256GB of UFS 4.0 (better), but only 8GB of RAM (far worse), and that is still more expensive or the same price only if you're lucky.

The 47mm 2× telephoto is nice, but it's not 50mm so there is some distortion (this is the main reason to even have a 2× telephoto anyway, as it makes it extremely useful for portraits), and the resulting 2× and 4× zoom images are both not great. I'm sure that a centre crop would produce better 2× zoom images anyway, or if not, then 95% of the way there. The 4× zoom is probably barely useable anyway.

These two phones are almost neck and neck, but the OnePlus 12R gives you more RAM, so I would consider that over this, even if I myself really do care about smartphone photography. The very slightly larger sensor and the 2× telephoto don't really sway me over to camp Realme, even though I deeply care about the photo quality coming out of my phone.

The GT6T, on the other hand, is largely crap. There are much better phones in its price bracket.

Not a fan of curved screens, so no.

Some who are fascinated with Tech will look for uniqueness where "Nothing Phone 2" come there.

Here in Europe, 14 Civi is not available. But talking about All World Market; 12R is better suited for everything. If you move a tad bit lower, there's IQOO Neo 9 Pro. Not only you get good cameras but good software experience as well as good battery backup. Although for someone who prefers telecams, will look for 14 Civi or S23 FE or even S23 in some markets.

Realme GT 6T for early offer of 400€, with gifts, is a rly good deal. The other one ( GT 6 ), not that much.

OnePlus 12R offers better bang for the buck.

As usual, it's just another overpriced Realme phone that got hyped by the marketing on release date. In reality, it is mediocre from any perspective.

You like the fast SoC for gaming? Get the Poco F6 for cheaper.
The camera? Only the main sensor is good. You better off getting the Vivo V30 Pro with better camera setup + Zeiss, and also cheaper.
You think you want a phone with "AI" stuff? Forget the fake AI on this Realme. For the price Realme is charging, you can just get the Galaxy S23FE, and not only you get OneUI 6.1, you get better build quality, longer software update, telephoto lens with OIS, 4K capable front facing camera, and better all rounder.

In short, the GT6 is not a flagship killer, more like a flagship wannabe.

I already got my Gt neo 6

GT 6 price is basically what is Poco F6 Pro that come with SD 8 gen 2 and even cheaper then the GT 6

While GT 6T with SD 7+ gen 3 is around same price as Poco F6 while that has better 8s gen 3 and Realme not even sold in every European country.

When Poco F6 and Pro get 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates then the Realme is not worth it being more expensive.

I would set the GT 6T on the level of Poco X6 Pro by performance and save up over 100 euro with it. If Poco X6 Pro also have this 3 OS updates then there is no need for custom roms as people who want this type of performance are mostly aiming for gaming so they probably change the phone before the end of the 4 year security support

for the things it delivers, its too expensive. if they would have put the actual GT NEO 6 camera from the chinese model on it and priced it 450-479 to be a competitor to the poco F6, it would sell like hotcakes. but when you price the GT 6 just 100$ less than the Oneplus 12, whats the point?

Where's the "For the price, they're good phones, but for my available budget, they're too expensive" option? 😂😂😂

yes I will buy this if I want because this is a very good cheap flagship.
