x86 laptops are half the price and offer similar performance and battery life with better graphics performance.

mqondy, 21 Jun 2024Windows users like me wud buy them in a heartbeat ,believe ... moreLong-time Windows, various Linux ver. and MacOS user here: you're funny. The only reason Windows machines "rule the world" is because they're almost always cheaper than Apple and therefore everyone used them at one point in their lives, and because of that software creators focus mostly on Windows compatibility. That said Windows 11 is an absolute crap, and all Win versions were always unstable pieces of background process hell. MacOS is still king of productivity and low battery use, and Linux is amazing if you need to use a PC and have enough common sense to stay away from Windows.

what a rip-off! especially the eu prices, totally money grubbing! and with the built in recall spyware. i'm also assuming there is co-pilot and samsunsung-pilot so double the data snooping for better more effective an efficient al task of course. i would only touch one of these is if it were free and i can bung linux on it.

All these Copilot laptops cost more than Apple MacBooks or same price... who would get them instead of a MacBook? Like bruh

I recently bought their Galaxy Book3 Pro 360. It's everything I wanted in a laptop, BUT, there are some stuff I wish they did better, like putting a brighter display and shaving off that ugly chin.

If they could release a Book5 Pro 360 with Snapdragon X Elite, brighter display, and slimmer chin, I would so return my Book3 Pro 360 for that.

So it's only about $50 less than the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 with similar RAM/storage configuration. It makes me wonder what are the pros and cons between the two.

                            ASUS s16 looks better

PorkHotdog, 20 Jun 2024I went to check it out man this bottom screen bezel is huge... moreMicrosoft Surface does NOt have a hinge and thus doesn't have to worry about display ribbons for manufacturing ease nor for repairs to consider.

Yes some manufacturers have very small bottom bezels but too small would affect viewing content near that are such as Taskbar etc, depending on the height of the laptop on a table vs your actual lap or angle being viewed at by the end user.

There is also heat from the motherboard to consider affecting the display or display ribbons close to the hinge IF exhaust vents are near there.

Think beyond preference. Then look at products on the market and then consider sales volumes and finally consider repair costs per volume ;)

Some countries tax laws restrict that not just for consumers but for manufacturers for tax purposes (allocation and payments as per accounting ledger and laws) ans businesses as clients like to see the taxes for tax rebates etc.

And yet, it's sold for 1700. Too greedy Samsung, keep it at this price, sorry!

I think it has the wrong shape to be rolling

No tax in my state, so I can always rely on the MSRP. :)

I went to check it out man this bottom screen bezel is huge and too distracting. what is Samsung thinking? The new surface laptop looks much better
