Let's see and wait if people see this from the same lens (pun intended), when they were laughing/crying over Sony and it's multiple apps for the average and the 'Pro', namely Photo/Video/Cinema!
This app comes just in time, only about 5 years after they launched their first 'Pro' iPhone!
I honestly can't even remember how long ago Lumia or other Android OEMs had this stuff (some form of manual control, not necessarily for video too), but definitely more than a decade!!

Huge W for iOS, having manual camera controls was my #6 reason to have an Android over an iPhone.

#5 and #3 (emulation and good web content blockers, respectively) have crumbled recently as well.

#1, #2, and #4 still remain (which are proper file management, sideloading, and playing back local music files respectively). If all of these fall, I will buy an iPhone.

Maybe, just MAYBE, this is a way to guage usage and to find out which features are popular in the app itself before applying them to the main camera app?

              Pretty obvious really,

Sorry Apple, Sony already tried separate photo and video pro apps and look how that happened. Sony took the smart decision and are implementing into their camera app instead. Apple you'll find out soon enough.....

And it is free (demo) but raw conversion need to be done on PC/mac.
If you like then you can get the paid version with on device conversion of raw video.

Anyone using android must use this app once at least for photo capture and see the difference in dynamic range for yourself.

You can also check videos on YouTube as well for comparison with iphone log footage.

Only requirement is your device should support camera2api (raw capture support).

Don’t purchase it. Apple will stop updates for it a year after purchase......lol

ProShot for Android users... Although not free, a one-time subscription fee with features on offer is a sweet deal for Pro Cinematographers. You can literally turn off the NR and get Raw-like images and Videos.

Well, they could potentially makes more money in the future by offering a "premium features" .
