harlekkin, 24 Jun 2024That's like saying that diesel and petrol engines are ... moreLol. Let's assume you're correct, why do you think that is? That Apple is using a better RAM spec/architecture?
This, alone, shows how clueless you are.
Well, I'll have you know that a top android flagship released 5 years ago would whoop the latest iPhone flagship in multitasking and capabilities.
I remembered when iPhone fanboys were saying that 1GB RAM is enough simply because Apple kept it 1GB. They were shading androids for having 6GB RAM. Guess what, the latest iPhone flagship has 8GB.

Whatever, EU! Just prevent apple from selling its phones and other products. You're such a cry baby and a whiner. Tell your people to live using just android phones. In the end, money talks. LOL

Every new concept cares for our privacy in short run, and destroys it in the long run.
I'll give you a great example:- Fingerprint sensor is a big deal because you can change password but not your fingerprint.
Earlier in 2015, Redmi Note 4 promised "chip level" security of your fingerprint data. Fine, I was convinced.
What about today? Today, Realme's privacy policy says your stored fingerprint can be stored by them, I quote, " we will use technical measures to process your personal biometric information before storing it".
And at one time around 2019 or so, they openly said your fingerprint is their data, but its now manipulated.
Similarly, AI initially will be safe and all, but come 2030, the AI will perceive your life 100% and derive conclusions on its own, providing limited but accurate data to servers, maybe to NSA too.
As usual, the "AI is safe" debate would be dead by then, because who's discussing fingerprint sensor now, tell me?
Does anyone have an answer to my question?

And there I thought previous article regarding their AI (African/Indian remote resources) will be first come first serve basis due to quota limitation but they seems to follow pixel way of making features available only in US and certain limited countries.

Apple talking about "privacy concerns because of the DMA" while simultaneously talking to Meta about using their AI is just my humor.

6GB of RAM on an iPhone can probably deliver at about the same performance as 12GB RAM or more on an Android. The entire architecture matters, not just the numbers.

RAM is a place you go to to get your work done. The faster and more efficient the place is, the more you get done.
How doeßp fit 2.5 TB of storage all in just one 2TB card. But UFS 4.0 is still faster than 3.1.

It's much like how a 2TB SSD is just like a 2TB HDD, capacity-wise. If you have 2.5 TB of files, no matter how fast your SSD is, you CAN NOT fit the 2.5TB into the 2 TB SSD. But, a 4TB HDD can take it with no problem. I cannot believe I'm explaining this.

6gb ram is too low spec,
even at Lpddr5,
it simply means low spec 'flagship'.
iPad Pro iPadOS is doing better.
