If the iphone or mac is designated to handle the processing and battery, it would make the headset much more lighter and I could wear it for more than 5 MINUTES.

I don't see why people wouldn't by an affordable Vision Headset. Given the fact that there's no PRICE TAG YET.
And given the fact that this will be launch and released on late 2026. You think people wouldn't have save money? You think apple will just create a garbage product with no features that might be superior to Meta Quest 3? Especially if their Vision Pro works without any controllers?

Why would anyone with half a functional brain buy this over a Xreal, Rokid or even a meta visor? Ah...right, cause of the sloppy seconds fruit logo owned by MegaCorp tech-daddy that you can flaunt in your local starbukas. Coonsumerism, baby!
But in all honesty, I hope this BS fails as hard as their joke of a Vision Pro and Tim finally gets the boot. That clown is the biggest reason why customers are forced to pay $1000+ for devices that come with soldered 8GB/256GB in 2024. The man's greed is pure cancer.

But that'll still be an abysmal failure by Apple standards. Remember, the last truly revolutionary Apple products (iPhone and iPod) were actually fairly affordable compared to the competition. And especially with current economic conditions, who can justify paying $1K USD for a product with few to no current use cases?

Lol, may as well get universal AR glasses like Xreal Air/Air 2 and Rokid Max. Not only can you use them on any Apple products, but you can also use them on Windows and Android devices.

so, you can connect your iphone to the headset, so you can check instagram on the headset instead of the screen of your iphone? and all of that for the incredible low price as 1000-2000 dollars?
