The disassembly would prove my point, as an actual metal inner frame (similar to later Nokia phones since 2019) would've added at least 30g of weight to an otherwise featherweight phone.

    The metal is only on the inside, and since I see no antenna bands, this appears to be yet ANOTHER BBK plastic block!

      same insides of a realme note 50/C51. nothing's special but saved by its durability as their selling point.

        IpsDisplay, 24 Jun 2024Nah I believe them lower brands like umigi has done this me... moreNokia's 2019 and later phones had an aluminium (occasionally stainless steel) frame holding the hardware in place and a plastic body or frame in each phone. Not a surprise why they're comparatively heavier by weight than the competition, to begin with.

        Umidigi is yet to include metal frames in their phones. Same with most other Chinese brands.

        If they had a metal frame inside, expect it to weigh much heavier than suggested. I'm pretty sure they're using aluminium-like plastic like those cheap bidet hand showers, or faucets.

          IpsDisplay, 25 Jun 2024It isn't I can literally give you links and exampl... moreLet's not forget how Nokia 5, 6, 6.1 etc were sub-$200 phones with aluminium unibodies, not just aluminium-looking plastic or a negligible amount of aluminium in the construction like in Lenovo, Oppo, Vivo and Apple phones around that time!

          While I'd like to include Samsung's 2015 A series and C series phones, they were priced at $500 or more, and basically faded into obscurity with lower sales.

                      Metallic frame is probably a plastic frame with a metallic sheen to it, as there's no way there's actually a metal frame for under €112.

                        FYI: This is the Indian version with a 32MP camera. The rest of the world gets the version that was previously leaked.
