BeeTee, 24 Jun 2024This has been available in the U.K. for several years.Are you sure about this? I had to repair my device not that long ago, and I had to go to an EE store (an autorhised repair store as well) to get it repaired as the nearest store was an hour drive away.
I looked into this, but couldn't find any repair bus or mobile repair center here.

Long time ago ,in UK most of the cities used to have a Samsung Store!Was easy to buy something or to fix a phone,just going there!Now you have to wait for someone to collect your parcel and bring it back!As a personal experience,I had several problems with Samsung phones as mother board to be replaced for S7 Edge and now the USB type C to be replaced for S24 Ultra!Never again an expensive Samsung with lots of problems!!!

Samsung warranty is worthless though. They will always do everything possible to avoid providing service for their products. I had a three month old S20 on which the display totally stopped responding to touch. They refused the warranty repair because they claimed there was a scratch on the back of the phone - it was literally less than 0.5mm, superficial and barely visible to the naked eye. Had to threaten legal action before they would agree to provide the repair. Never bought Scamsung since

Too late. I have joined the get-a-new-phone-every-three-years-squad since searching spare parts to fix an old one has become a headache these days. Not to mention carriers bogging them down with updates.
I will also burn a tire in my backyard everytime we retire a phone in our household.
