I really needed this feature..usually it takes me 2 hours to fall asleep. However, I wonder if this will work with Google Home devices, I use this one to fall asleep.

bet no one in the history of watching youtube asked for this g€h feature.
do the most avid readers of this website (aka indians and ladyboiz) care about this feature?
      be honest, would you?

Nice, but the longer you don't touch the phone, the more likely YouTube will serve longer ads. One guy said he discovered YouTube still playing with a 1+ hour ad in the background.

Did it have to take that long?

I had an app that you connect to YT and it does that.
There's also many ways to set a duration, after which, the app is simply killed.

It's funny how almost a decade ago I asked Google to implement volume normalization in Android and they told me to fook off only to implement it a decade later as "Stable Volume" and *only* in YouTube.

At the same time I asked a similar feature only for videos, "Gamma control" to be able to make them brighter or dimmer without making them awash with white or turning them pitch black.

I guess soon enough they'll roll out it in YouTube as "Stable Brightness" or something. Weird almost anti-consumer company.

i've never heard of anyone asking for this, everyone wants fewer ads and not more crap
