I will use GB forever for my Xperia Arc S.. custom GB with custom kernel works very fast, while the UI is Holo look. What for using JB/ICS?
my phone is really beautiful and fast with GB.

I think Gb will always be on top because it's more practical and more liveable than ics and jb. with Gb, you won't ged rid of any app you throw into whereas ics and jb have some apps issues. anyway, i'm sure that Gb still remain on top

Because of this little differences its not enough for Google to call 4.2 or 4.3 a KeyLimePie or whatever they want to call it.

Samsung once had a poll about why people would consider buying a new Android

nearly 40% of people answered because of the latest Android Version ... which led Samsung into believing they should really delay the update so that users can buy the latest phones!

and That's why the latest flagships get the latest updates in weeks while the older flagships needs over a year to get the update.... no integrity or decency at all!

Stupid OEM's are 1-2 years behind in each update ... and JB is taking over because of the new devices not because of the update ... ugh! how frustrating!

Nope. This is because people settle with budget phones but now they are aiming for the flagships and high end phones. We all know that those were the ones that did get the jb update. For example, here in our country people used galaxy ace and those mid-ranged but while walking in malls or streets, the phones i see is always an s3 or s4 and of courseiphones.

I think the logic is that users that were buying phones in 2011 are renewing contracts with new phones...

I have Samsung galaxy s2, when I updated it to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 from ICS 4.0.4. It couldn't stop from draining battery for days. So, I downgraded it to 4.0.4 again an now its normal again. I think Jelly Bean needs to be reconsidered on battery issues especially for Samsung G S2.

obvious; just like human evolution..now in today's world there are less apes and more humans...so is with android..older versions get lesser in number with time...
