RDY4 a Smaller Phone, 25 Jun 2024Does the USB-C Output support Video and a desktop mode this... moreHave not confirmed this model, but other Motorola models have a great desktop mode, wired and wireless. I would be surprised if it didn't come with it, especially the ultra.

Pretty excited about these phones, but also not entirely happy.
The external screen upgrades on both are awesome and a welcome feature.
As for the chipset choices... As usual... It's disappointing. Especially for the non-ultra. The 8s Gen3 is significantly behind the 8 Gen 3, well even behind 8 Gen 2... It's the whole "Celeron" move all over again.
But the first offender is the Dimensity 7300x... A processor, save for the 4nm, that belongs to the year 2020 or so. An A78/A55 architecture in 2024/2025?? Are they for real? It's a regression from last year's 7 Gen 1, which, from experience, has been a frustrating experience on the Razer 40. Maybe, just maybe, the 7300x would resolve the overheating and the diet battery life currently plaguing the Razer 40... Also with it being designed specifically for foldable, whatever that means, might resolve the noticable sluggishness of the Razer 40... Who knows.

Does the USB-C Output support Video and a desktop mode this year? Ready to switch to this from a S23 after hearing about the S25 screen size increase but a wired desktop mode is crucial to me for remote work.

Better battery life on 50 Ultra I see (review is not live yet, but you can see the stats in specs)
But regular Razr 50 is the most intetesting one.

Cool to see Dilraba marketing this. She's a solid actress and hilarious person.
Due to battery life, I think my wife would suffice with the regular 50. I'll have to wait for the numbers to see if the 8s Gen 3 is efficient enough for a day of medium use with social media, browsing, and some video if the difference is minimal.

The regular 50 specs look really good on paper .. the price also seems acceptable.
just miss the viva magenta color .

That RAZR is truly disappointing - Since January users have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, and Moto is not even committing to fix this critical user-function, despite still advertising that Assistant can be used with the phone closed. It is a serious defect for a phone that promotes usability when closed. The Lenovo/Moto/RAZR support/discussion board shows how little Moto is taking any responsibility of a broken feature Moto specifically promotes.
Moto RAZR... outrageous you have to open the phone to use Google Assistant... since Jan '24 - still that way in June. Great idea, but someone dropped the ball on this critical function.

The regular razer looks compiling than the ultra one and it has slightly bigger battery which is a nice bonus

Razr 50 Ultra should've either had a 50MP ultrawide instead, or had both a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP 3× telephoto. Also, the inner display should've been 20:9 like it was on the Razr 2022, that aspect ratio is so much better to use. Plus, just keep both displays 120Hz, and make the outer screen LTPO.
Also, just make the inner selfie camera 50MP, please. There is no good reason why it should use a crappy 32MP sensor meant for mid-rangers.

Really? Telephoto, but no ultrawide, but the cheaper Razr 50 gets an ultrawide? Strange choice, but okay.
