    But why?

Their AI still recommends using glue for pizza.

What digital psychedelic mushrooms Alphabet people are feeding their AI?

The usual gang of Android fanboys that line up up bash Apple on other articles seem to be missing in this comments section. How strange...

Now read our emails and learn everything about us

I doubt they will use the information wisely

AI is changing everything, this is a good tool, the problem is when someone uses it in a bad way. In this case, Google is adding this functionality to our emails, if we have personal or private information, it'll be analyzed and data could be extracted and published in their new engine, Gemini. Sometimes we can find personal information in Google, information that is kept in other sources, but Google can index. Imagine Gemini gathering this information, Google is making a monster.

Thank God I removed the side panel and disabled every single Google search-like feature from my phone. It's getting annoying at this point.

                  Ah. AI in everything.
Soon, AI will teach us how to function as humans.
                  Great, Google.

Just let technology do all of our thinking for us. What could possibly go wrong?
