You will get enhanced trade-in values for the fold throughout the year, but Samsung never offered the same trade-in values for the Flip they offered at launch. Also, you won't get the up front credit, discount on insurance and bundle deals. Plus, the next enhanced trade-in following open enrollment won't come until Fall. If the Z fold sells well, it will likely be late fall; closer to Thanksgiving. So, you won't have your Z6 throughout the summer. Those early purchase benefits may not matter to you, but they do matter.

          You know, I'm baffled how we as a society have turned from waiting for complete reviews through time (like Consumer Reports) before purchase, into pre-ordering gadgets that we don't even know the exact spec/look/performance/feel/etc. It's mind boggling. It's like people are putting blind faith into these tech companies, for no reason at all. And it's not like the pre-order bonuses are exclusive. Samsung frequently extend the bonuses into months after the launch, so you can still get the benefits after at least read/watch a review or two.
