Nokia gave up on symbian because they didn't know how to develop the product's GUI interface in a manner that didn't require the app developers to re-write their code from scratch 3 times!
Then there is Stephen Elop (former Micro$haft employee) and his stupid decision to outsource development of the OS to Accenture (who can't delivery anything on time or budget) to cut costs.

I really hoped that Apple would change some of the specifications for their next iPhone. It's great that they're including the higher-res camera, faster graphics and connectivity, but they didn't change two key elements of the phone:
1. Display sharpness
2. CPU
All the android 2013 flagships already pack 400+ ppi screens and quad-core/ octa-core CPUs. How will Apple keep up with that?

I know it is rumour still, but $350 for a budget iPhone, basically it will have parts from iPhone 4 and 4s/ and will be sold at such high cost, i thought a few weeks ago that if it is released it would be around the £329 mark in the uk, and this seems to suggest the same, on paper prices are usually similar $350/£329, but it just shows how much of a rip of apple is, for example a galaxy s3 is £300 BRAND NEW!!! and ok, you do not all want a samsung or a droid, but the point is regardless of if you want wp8 or android, you are still getting a much newer device with better everything for less, but this will no doubt sell in the millions by the blinded people who buy for a NAME only
