vivo X200 tipped to have a smaller screen than the X100

This would be a further point of differentiation between it and the X200 Pro.

Would be funny if relatively small means 6.7 instead of 6.78

If you think these aren't big enough, well the market says they're big enough for people that matter lol. At least you get hundreds to choose from, unlike the 2 phones you commented, which are both not available in so many countries.

The thing is to complain for the sake of complaining, because there are mobile phones for mini handymen.

brsdrgn, 26 Jun 2024I honestly would love to use a phone which is compact. B... moreSamsung used to be great till the S10, it was basically an S10+ with worse battery life and a smaller screen.

if the x200 gets 1/1.3" or better main cam along with a smaller size then the small/compact phone market would still be intact! The current 1/1.49" sensor is smaller than the IQOO 12 and I think that's just sad, less bokeh.
A 6.4" and smaller display would be great, 6.3" is perfect I'd say, especially with the smaller bezels we're getting these days. I held a 13 Pro and it's small af, 1-2 inches wouldn't hamper anything. But anyways, a worse camera array on a smaller phone is acceptable, but the X100 is just weirdly placed in Vivo's lineup and seems like a bad upsell.

I honestly would love to use a phone which is compact.

Back in the days, brands were doing it but they were usually giving inferior specs to the smaller versions. I think Sony was doing this just right with its compact models, packing up the same flagship specs without compromising anything but the battery.

I miss those days and I want to see smaller phones which pack up the similar specs with the other pro, plus model or whatever.

Making a compact phone shouldn't be much of an issue. Maybe the only down side would be heating problem due to squeezing everything there(maybe doing a double layer MB like Apple does would be achieved). Having a smaller screen size would accompany a similar battery life with smaller battery, hoping that they'll put all the cameras there(not only main+zoom or main+uw).

I honestly don't understand industry's slim design target. Make the device a little thicker and add even those giants cam modules. You can make battery thicker and squeeze there sth decent.

The phone would be more durable to bending and shocks.

Anton .el PAPI., 26 Jun 2024As long as the Ultra screen grows to 6.9 there is no problem! Why was I expecting such comment from that particular account?

Otherwise would be too small ha? :D

As long as the Ultra screen grows to 6.9 there is no problem!
