Samsung Galaxy A06 will have the same chipset as the A05, Geekbench reveals

The only logical upgrades that A06 could get have to be recycled from the A05s, A14 4G, A14 5G & A15 4G:
1- 720p -> 1080p
2- 60Hz -> 90Hz
3- 8MP -> 13MP Selfie
4- null -> 2MP Macro camera
5- null -> side-mounted fingerprint
6- null -> NFC
It's safe to assume it will be another EMMC 5.1, 4G, LCD, OneUICore phone from Samsung. Which is sad because a05 & a05s are the only phones with these. I bet they'll make more money by ending the development of OneUICore & the production of LCDs for phones. (They still make LCDs for tablets though)

Bad decision but tbf If they put that other money towards a 90Hz or AMOLED panel it might just well be worth it

It could be a Helio G88 or G91 since both of those SoCs are basically the same as the G85.
We need a few things:
- 1080p screen
- 90Hz refresh rate
- Base 6GB RAM, 128GB storage (LPDDR4X, UFS 2.2 respectively - No more eMMC junk please!)
- Minimum 13MP selfie camera
- An ultrawide camera
- A fingerprint sensor (!)
A few nice to haves:
- Stereo speakers
- Holepunch display
- AMOLED screen (know it's not coming but we can only hope)
- Bigger battery (M series size)
- Key Island design

Hopefully, the savings on a SoC upgrade are put towards a fingerprint reader and NFC at least. Either a lower price or other upgrades (UFS storage, ultrawide camera, 90Hz, 128GB starting storage, more sensors) should be included as well.
