Regarding the 3 chip set possibilities for Samsung S25 galaxy, Qualcomm snapdragon 8 Gen 4, Media Tek dimensity 9400, and exynos 2500, I prefer to go with qualcomm since they're the more established and reputable brand. As for Media Tek they've come a long ways and have narrowed the gap vs qualcomm but I still feel qualcomm is the safer bet. As for exynos, forget that since it's basically a Google tensor chip which has proven to be lackluster filled with flaws and bugs.

I would GLADLY buy dimensity 9000 series S25 plus or ultra if it gonna be 500 or up to 600 rather pay stupid 1000

It was that good that it didn't get updated here to the new battery test methodology in order to not overshadow the Galaxy A54 results.
And A34 remains a better option than the new A35. Just because of its processor. Exynos still has a long way to go.

Yoyo, 27 Jun 2024Samsung is the worst. They used to be ok few years ago, now... moreEven worse that their phones all LOOK the same. You can buy a $1000 flagship with the same generic design as their $200 budget phones. All to save on manufacturing costs and boost profits for their shareholders.

That 260$ for just a soc is insane. Nothing phone 2a and Samsung a55 could be purchased for 30-40$ more on that.

Samsung is the worst. They used to be ok few years ago, now they just release the same phone every year (just like aNother company) with that overheating bs they call exynos along with the better chips from Qualcomm and charge the same money for both variants and that's been going on for quite some time, yet people still buy this crap, which drop in price like crazy.

I have a positive view of MediaTek so that will be great, in fact more preferable than Exynos or Snapdragon for me.

Much like the Pseudo flagships Moto and Vivo have released in the past, I would love for Samsung to Embrace the flagship processors from Mediatek.
HTC once trusted Mediatek with their "plus" phones (the One M9plus was Mediatek not snapdragon, along with the E9 plus) and they were big hits in the market at the time.

Mediatek has come a long way. It's time someone stands up to Qualcomm and their ridiculous pricing.

[deleted post]What exactly is your genius idea? Samsung should just blindly pay for overpriced SD chips and increase the prices of their phones so end users would have to pay more for them? lol

I think the majority of us can agree here that we would all prefer a Snapdragon processor even though recently MediaTek have been increasingly putting out better chips.

I blame this solely on Snapdragon. They're chips have just become too expensive where manufacturers are having to make massive compromises between chipsets and features.

We've seen this recently with the announcments coming from Motorola and Oneplus.
