Ann, 01 Aug 2024I hope all of them uses at least Sony sensors for the main ... moreyeah i agree with that,, the sharpness is different too. maybe because of the processing as well. i compare my 13t with xiaomi 14 in the erafone shop in Indonesia.

I hope all of them uses at least Sony sensors for the main camera. Samsung and Omni is okay for auxiliary cameras. The thing I noticed with Omni (OV50H in particular), is that it's not as good compared to Sony. In phone, it looks nice. But on PC or zoomed in, it doesn't look very nice, maybe because of the processing as well, but the colours look flatter and watercolour-ish, compared to Sony's. Omni sensors really have to have great processing by phone manufacturer. Hynix is not popular, but I noticed sometimes photo results overall even better than Omni (I have cheap backup phone with Hynix Hi-5021Q), though almost if not all of the time not as detailed and consistent.

Looks like an OV sensor, the same as in honor 200 pro. Other sensors looks bad. Could it be, that the 13t was the last flagship killer?
I don't need little bit bigger resolution and brighter screen, better put atleast 2 nornal camera sensors in the phone. This one sensor setup is like 2014.

Rosso, 27 Jun 2024What made the 13T Pro such a good phone was how it was most... moreIt's on GSMArena's flagship killer title (alongside 13T) for almost a year since launch now for a reason. It's truly the best valued flagship killer of its time and still hasn't been dethroned today.

The 14T/14T Pro do have a huge challenge to overcome with what 2024 phones has shown us, and I do wonder what will their pricing be because that will make or break the "flagship killer" title.

Poco F6 moved away from "flagship killer" to "daily driver". GT6 promoted itself as a "flagship killer", yet people here including me agreed that it's just too expensive for what it brings to the table, and also failed to dethrone 13T Pro. Can't wait to see the 14T series global launch.

Aierlan, 27 Jun 2024They are confusing the Chinese version with the global one.... moreThat must be the case.

People are being worried here, I would suggest just waiting. Check out what happened between K60 Ultra to 13T Pro : https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?&idPhone1=12470&idPhone2=12389#diff-

It's still too early for a confirmed final camera setup.

What made the 13T Pro such a good phone was how it was most balanced out of all flagship killers, going away from that and into "let's shove the most powerful SoC possible" would be stupid.

It's not 2018 anymore where a gap in usability between a midrange chip and flagship one is as such that sacrifice other specs for it makes sense like it did with Poco F1.

Docktor, 27 Jun 2024Thats what I think too. Fake news. Last model had 50+50+12 ... moreThey are confusing the Chinese version with the global one. The Chinese k70 ultra will have a 50mp +8mp +2mo setup like the k60 Ultra had. The global Xiaomi 14t pro will have a better 50mp main sensor, a telephoto sensor and a better ultrawide. Also the Xiaomi 14t pro will have a better main sensor than the Redmi k70 ultra

LOVE PENGUIN, 27 Jun 2024Fake news, 14T Pro have 50mp telephoto and 12mp ultrawide. ... moreI do hope so. I already withheld to change my phone to wait the 14T. It would be disappointment if the news about the downgrade is true.

Fake news, 14T Pro have 50mp telephoto and 12mp ultrawide. That macro cam is used in K70 Ultra, and all the T series aren't straight rebranding, they look the same but the camera is much better in T series. Look up how 13T compared to K60 Ultra.

Why would they downgrade the camera sensors... on a Leica-branded phone? The predecessor was the only phone in its price range to have three quality high-resolution sensors. What a shame. Are monkeys responsible for the decision-making at Xiaomi? I would've rather seen the 14T be the Civi 4 Pro.

Of all the phones that I had on my list as potential next phones the 14T Pro is the only one left, let's hope it stays on it

Wow, 14T series news! Not much as before, and considering what happened with Poco F6 news I'll wait for proper news on this.

If the 14T Pro is using 50+8+2 combo (main+wide+macro), that would be a shame, since even 13T without a pro is using 50+50+12 combo (main+tele+wide). If I after the IP68, I'd rather get 13T, or if that is not possible due to scarcity, then maybe RNote 13 Pro+ can be considered for the extra 512 GB storage. If performance is what I need, then Poco F6 looks interesting.

I hope this is not the case 😑

The 13T Pro is the same as the K60 Ultra except it's more expensive and it has better cameras.

I would expect the selfie camera to actually be 32MP, not 8MP. 8MP is too low for what is basicallya flagship phone, plus it says 8.1MP anyway.

8mp+2mp would be a complete downgrade from 13T Pro

So it won't be omnivision 32 mp sensor, unless they have ov32d with smaller pixel size of 0,65 micrometers in production they haven't unveiled yet.
