No point giving IP68 if they won't cover warranty for water damages. IP64 is more than enough.

IP rating on phones is just a gimmick, go and try to get sour phone fixed for water damage and explain that it has IP rating xy and see if they repair it
It just makes the costs go up, useless marketing gimmick
Maybe I am wrong but I don't remember the Nokia 3310 had an IP rating
