Playing video games requires physical sacrifices like not eating properly or ending gaming sessions with bloodshot eyes. Video game players also cannot have a proper social life or romantic relationships. On the other hand, footballers promote the LGBT movement and things like that. Kids playing video games are cool as long as they stay away from something as ridiculous as football.

Typical Saudi Arabia moment, just as corrupt as it always has been. For an eSports event there are way better phones available, but money talks there. Absolute best and 8s Gen 3 do not match

Give me a break! I&... moreWell you're an iPhone user so I'm not expecting a lot of logical statements from you, but just to let you know, gaming in any form is not just about "pushing buttons all day"
They maybe wrong about calling e-sports players atheletes, maybe that's not the right word
BUT, professional gaming is a lot more than push of random buttons, especially when on a phone
There's a lot more to that and that's why it's a sport now
It's a game, first of all, so there are rules and such, just anyone pushing buttons can't excel at it

Give me a break! I've been playing video games since the early 80's kiddo, it is something that was never meant to have the word 'Professional' associated with it. I happen to agree mind that football players are overpaid, but between them and some kid sat on their tod pushing buttons all day, I know which should be called an athlete.
Athlete is meant to describe someone proficient in a physical sport, so I'll consider gamers as athletes the same day I do poker players!
