At some point, you should be able to realise that this is your own opinion. Granted, some may share your opinion, but it'd not change the fact that it's not objective.
And good luck expecting tech manufacturers to not bundle some of their services in their product. Just about every manufacturer out their would love to have the kind of ecosystem Apple have. They'd love to lock you into their platform, keep you using some—if not all—of their services. At the end of the day, it's business.
If I was a manufacturer, I'd want that, too. You're free to think that you wouldn't want that. But good luck expecting a typical OS maker to not include some of their productsl/services (such as browser and AI thingy) in the system. You're very realistic, after all.

...while they also introduced MOREEEEEEE useless things, like Copilot, Microsoft Edge (give us, a non-EU citizen, an option to uninstall smh), upcoming AI on Paint (please make this a downloadable feature instead goddamn), Recall (thanksfully they "recalled" it), Phone Link (not everyone needs to link their phone to their PC), etc. Not to mention the more aggresive telemetry ever since Windows 10.

I might be understand related to this Communities (thought they might don't need to create a separate page from Chats for that), but how about Channel? If I want to know about the latest information from someone or something, I go to Instagram/Twitter.

Only way what you're saying will every happen is if there becomes a toggle for every secondary features of every app. Having said that, I hope you know that group chat is a secondary feature of WhatsApp? It wasn't there when I first used WhatsApp in 2010.

I am a member of two very active communities on WhatsApp. And I know people who actually use channels.
Funny enough, he might be one of those people who disparage WhatsApp for being inferior to telegram, feature-wise.

Communities in whatsapp and Shorts in YouTube should be have toggel to disable. I don't need those feature and hopefully many others too.

I don't even remember when last time me or my friends or my family or their relatives use Channels feature, let alone this Community feature. They can't just keep this app simple smh.
