Let's be real, who wants to play AAA games on a mobile phone anyway? (Imagine calling stratagems on a phone screen lol) That's your desktop's job.

Leanzazzy, 01 Jul 2024Honestly, who would pay $50 for a mobile game? We know Appl... more'We know Apple users aren't exactly the brightest'

        Oh we do, do we?

Let me ask you then, there are hundreds a millions of 'Apple users' the world over, are you confident that you be brighter than every last one of them?

          Reasons:
          1. iCrowd is not known for gaming preferences, they're fashion oriented people, ladies, businessmen, artists, etc (I don't want to stereotype) who don't have time for gaming.

          2. Ports of these games are terrible, even with sky high benchmarks that these iPhones manage otherwise, games run poorly.
They can assure what, 720p60 barely? Android world is doing 120 fps on games no less than FullHD.

          3. Choice of games is overall less in the iWorld, thus no gamer gets iPhone unless his gaming needs are satisfied by that PS5 or nitrogen steaming, multicoloured gaming PC at his home.

why not just make steam app from PC works on IOS?
even if only selectible game like RE 4 and and Assassin Creed Mirage work (can be installed), so you can play the game on Iphone if you have it on PC/ arleady bought it on steam,

Where, 01 Jul 2024Where 7g3 beating iphone video??its not only about video in a long run gaming seasion. Play any heavy AAA game on Apple phone for as long as your battery will last and do the same with android device the difference is huge.
Apple phones are not made for gaming and having best CPU on a benchmark which is good only for basi tasks like brownsing, facebook, tik tok, camera, vivber, whatsapp twitter or X, instagram, we chat, snap chat etc its a hit or shot to own leg to me.
For such useless tasks giving super B class CPUs which cost hundreds to make where even a 50-100 eur CPU would preform the same is like waste of money.

jiyen235, 01 Jul 2024I'm not saying Mirage is bad it's just that there... moreWell yes. Plan to buy origins which i did not played yet i mean the one in ancient Egypt.
And did not completed Unitiy because of a software bug which crashed my game. Finished half of it so i have like to start again from scratch.

first the Apple Vision FLOP Pro and now Apple Arcade FLOP. seeing Apple flounder like a fish out of water is delicious irony. keep it comin 😂.

                        Not enough effort.

                        1. Apple needs to design a MagSafe Cooler + Controller combo. Or a new range of iPhones that is specialised in gaming.
                        2. More recent AAA titles, and keep in same release as PC / Consoles.

However, even if Apple throw millions into getting it to work, it will still underperform compared to those casual games. Target audience is different on mobile. Game companies knows.. minimum effort, maximum profit.. Apple also get a cut from it.

I disagree. I'm one of the people who hates mobile games for it's causality and repeatable routines. I'd prefer what iOS did-gaming on mobile with actual gameplay like what a PC and a console can offer. It's just people don't have a good phone or has too many games or too busy to play to be adopting or going to play another game. I play 4 different games in mobile alone and add another game would make my gaming sessions a bit tight to keep up.

We have been told for ye... moreIf you count games running at an unstable 30 fps with barely 480p resolution "console gaming on a phone", they succeded. These ports are not very good, the effort is there, but the result is far from exciting. The only people buying these games are those that want to brag about playing these games on the go.

Gaming on a Mac is still bad, Apple acts like they make big strifes for gaming on a Mac, but in the end porting or developing games for Macs is still a nightmare. They do not have the neccessary hardware either, the GPU performance of their M-Chips is far too weak.

And that's why consoles and computers rule the games world. Apple stick to making toy devices leave it to the experts to make the game consoles.
