I have the same feeling from my GW3 Titanium, I love it and love Tizen, all the new functions in the WearOS aren't worth a battery life that isn't better.
On GW5 Pro it seems already better than GW6 or even the Classic apparently.
I hope WearOS will be optimized 😭

It's better to buy it in one year, around half the price of even better (see Watch 6 price around 199-229, Watch4 40 mm is found @ 99 in sales)

fren, 01 Jul 2024seriously the ultra design is so ugly I hope that a Classic wil dial will be there ... Because yeah, it's ugly and wayy too pricy for titanium.
Watch 3 Titanium (Which I still own) was @500 top at launch...

Samsung, my concern about the expected phigher rice tag of upcoming Watch 7 Ultra. I observed that you are following Apple's lead and price tag, but the quality, software fluidity, and sensor measurements of your products do not justify the higher price tag.
I urge you to reconsider this decision and to focus on improving the quality of your products rather than simply raising the price.

The "silver" one does look quite nice, once you've seen it a few times. Not sure if I agree with the ridiculous price point, though. I am also a bit confused with why they have both a rotating bezel and a rotating knob. Seems a bit excessive?

Dam!! Just make it square! People are already aware that Samsung loves Apple so much that they no longer want to be the Samsung that people once liked.
This so-called former Mercedes designer obviously admires Apple and tries to fool people into believing that they weren't copying Apple; there is no need to hire an ex-Mercedes designer for this design, which is almost identical to the $20 Aolon Smartwatch Cyber.

I can maybe af... moreI guess it's similar to other segments/industries. There are different niches, targeting different audiences. Like the car industry, you have vehicles ranging from the Citroen Ami to the Ferraris, Buggattis and everything in between.
As far as smartwatches are concerned, considering that there are models after models being launched every year, it seems that there is demand for them.

If it has glucose meter yes it would be worth 699Eur, but if just cuz it titanium with or without sapphire glass, it is not worth the added price, I mean at 699eur you can add 400 and get a classic watch from an Swiss maker, and it is still a watch

I'm so confused, there is nothing "ultra" about the Ultra model so why is almost twice as expensive? The bigger Watch 7 gives you 80% of the same device but for 300€ less.
