SShock, 02 Jul 2024I don't get it why HMD stopped making proper high end ... moreCost and margin. Might have been sustained if they sold big numbers but they didn't.

In areas where the Nokia Lumia was not launched, this would be a good option.

I think they are making the right decisions when it comes to bringing back the Lumia design. I am happy they are bringing it back, no complaints here.
But, Lumia phones were cheap. Granted they ran Windows, but they were cheap. These phones are not cheap, let alone competitive.

Instead of launching 5 phones with different specifications and price tag, why they just can't launch one or two phones with proper specifications at decent price?

Gooogol-plex, 02 Jul 2024What does mean to make nokia-branded devices?Because it's easier to make a device under a brand that already known for a long time rather than releasing it under an unknown brand. Like, wtf is HMD???

For heaven's sake, get rid of the notch and the hole punch if you're trying to invoke nostalgia.

Ellen Dale, 02 Jul 2024All those big borders around and HMD still put a waterdrop ... moreThey look like Windows phones. I don't mind notch, here it even looks uncommon with that flatness on the tip of it.
In a way, even though these are low end pieces, they are still being designed instead of slapped together.

I'd rather get a 6230i. It's time to lay Nokia to rest. It's over

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2024What, you want snapdragon 695 or dimensity 700/810? At leas... moreUnisoc t760/t770/t820 is on par with dimensity 900
Well, the nubia neo 5g didnt run well because it was held back by the storage and ram speeds so on the neo 2 it ran better despite using the same chip
Though im not gonna lie, for 300 euros its not really worth it (?) But I mean considering t760 isn't far off compared to the 7s gen 2 on the 460 euros skyline, its aight
And oh comparisons will be interesting because so far the only worth it to buy one is the 300 euro tier ones

"...while the Skyline is in the €400 segment (€460 for the retail version)"
Alright, that's the most relevant info in this article. Might be at a reasonable price as soon as I'll be buying a new phone again. Previously only the 460€ price was discussed.
