It means the screen can only be set to either 120 or 60, fixed. Thus most people would end up switching it to 60 as 120 all the time would drain the battery more. This is the reality of cheap Android with high refresh rate screens. It's just a gimmick

I'm not an analyst. but it's about time Apple moved from their hexa core design from 2017 to Octa core. (Personal opinion). so my speculation that the A18 Pro will be an Octa core CPU (either 4+4 or 2+6) with 6 G18 Graphic cores. and the normal A18 will keep the 6 cores (2+4) and 5 G18 Cores.

Good. Because one of the highlights of iPhones has been for years that no matter which one you bought, you got the flagship chipset in it. This whole artificial segmentation was really annoying and one of reasons I entirely dropped the idea of buying an iPhone. Might consider it again in the future if this change is real.

What you should be outraged is the fact that Apple is going to use cheap 3rd rate panels from BoE, who had scammed Apple before. That is what you should be outraged about, as Apple is being a cheapskate for keeping such 3rd rate component on their most popular product.

That’s good, I mean the A16 chip is still ahead of anything from competitors and the A17 Pro has pretty much occupied a league of its own since launch, the A18 Pro and A17 Pro will probably continue to dominate in performance for a few years. 🙂
The Standard A18 will probably be what most competition try catchup to.

as expected ,apple not going to improve the processing power of the soc.. See the A17pro not much differ than A16. A16 just minimal upgrade from A15.Not suprise if next 8gen4 or D9400 doubled antutu score than apple latest soc.Iphone forever stuck with old performance.

A "disabled" chip wouldn't be the way to impress potential customers your company was a leading hotbed of the latest tech and was doing everything possible to make it available.
