Honor teases the Magic V3 and its extremely thin body

The camera alignment reminds us of the Magic6 Pro.

Have magic V2 like it being so thin, however I would have been happier if camera wart wasn't so protruded if it was flush or near flush making whole phone thicker that would have been fine for me. I don't like Sammie's bulky folds, they are unwieldy. Biggest problem is how unstable it is laying flat on a desk, this looks to have been slightly remedied by moving the camera wart to the middle but should have flattened the bottom curve so it would lay down without rocking. The battery life is good but I do notice the phone heats more than I'd like so they could use the space (if slightly thicker) for a better heat-sink solution. I hope the optical zoom is better. My mate 20 pro still feels like a better phone even though its 6 years older.

gG, 03 Jul 2024Just release a flagship foldable in purse V(mate xs) style.... moreUnfortunately, mate xs3 will be super expensive and may not launch globally any soon probably because it'll be first triple foldable and coming with HarmonyOs next, also its in testing for more than a year, i saw its screenshot like 6 months back, software adaptation from phone to phablet(single unfold) than phablet to tablet or directly phone to tablet (double unfold)

Those unfolding software adaptation is taking time lets wait and witness the new era of smartphones and may be for laptop too, as harmonyos next is one system for all.

This may happen in October after mate 70

Just release a flagship foldable in purse V(mate xs) style. Thinner, more space for camera and battery, less visible crease and probably less production cost due to not having 2 displays!
It seems we have to wait for mate xs3:(

At some point we gotta ask, what's too thin? I don't want thinner foldables per se or thinner tablets, it just defeats the point of them having good durability in my opinion. Samsung's Fold 5 can use a bit of thinness, but not too thin like the honors where I might be able to snap it during a gaming rage session.
Also, the camera bumps.... what's the point of having thin phones when the camera bumps can hook on your pockets....

They should improve on the cameras this time as well. The Magic 6 Pro/RSR/Ultimate didn't actually make use of the variety of the sensors available. The Ultimate should've been better than the Pro. It wasn't. If they plan on using only Samsung sensors then they have Isocell GN3 (1/1.12"), Isocell GN1 (1/1.31") etc. The Ultrawide should be the GN3, the primary should be GN1 and the periscope should be the 1/1.57" with 3.5x where x stands for 28mm.

Duble the external size where the cameras are so we don't have the bump, increase the battery and the cooling using that space.
