"The Exynos W1000 will power the upcoming Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch7 Ultra but could also potentially make it inside the Galaxy Ring."

Why would this beast be inside the Galaxy Ring? There's no screen! You don't need this SiP just to track your data.

How does that translate to everyday watch tasks, such as messaging through WhatsApp, navigating directly on websites or even playing media content?

User. Hi., 03 Jul 2024It's amazing that a watch's SoC can be faster tha... moreYes, it really is, but there is absolutely no reason for that.
They were not slow before and I can not think of a thing that needs so much performance on a watch.
Of course, better energy management and better consumption is always welcome, but GW is struggling to get even bareable battery time for 6 generations already. Won't be surprised if this new watch will be trash again.

These less than entry level specs will cost more than flagship killers. Even though we have smartwatches for more than 5-7 years.

S24Plus, 03 Jul 2024Still ranks bad in "The Quantified Scientist" tes... moreyou can also check popular elite athletes like DCRainmaker and Desfit for smartwatch reviews. they test more deeply in exercises rather than scientific point of view.

SoC has a very small impact on health metrics. it most relies on the sensor quality used in the watch and samsung lags competition behind apple, garmin, pixel and huawei watches for 3-4 years. unless new more accurate sensors are used in galaxy watch7/ultra, the results will unfortunately still be the same.

Still ranks bad in "The Quantified Scientist" tests on Youtube. He tests the tracking of these trash watches in comparison to the real thing and Samsung watches are always trash.

It's amazing that a watch's SoC can be faster than that of a smartphone. (Or just as fast lol).
                    Good job, Samsung.
