who would ever have thought that apple would make low priced iphones??iphones were always associated with the rich and classy...but those days are gone.its now about reaching the competitors,the emerging markets have now suddenly become important to apple and that
tells a lot about the power of competition...apple would need to do a lot to convince emergin markets.all the same,its a good sign for all of us,the end user.

$349 is still too pricy. They should sell it like an entry level phone of Android in the price range of $200 to $300.

If the price is true I bet this cheap iPhone will come with A4 chipset and 512mb ram. Once you installed 100 apps or more then welcome to the Lag Fantasy World.

These should be released in emerging markets only. In the US, the old model already serves as the "budget iPhone," and this will only cheapen Apple's brand.
Not that I care, I'd love to see Apple taken down a peg.

Apple understandably are losing market share due to good HTC, Samsung, Sony etc. phones running on the far superior Android OS but come on... this is not the way to turn things around apple!
