Not everyone can afford or want brand new phone out of the box. This long year update actually gives good resell value. At least the user don't have to worry about security vulnerability for a long time. I've used my previous Nokia 8 for 5y years and I still have it and can last more years unless any serious hardware damage. So your point is invalid and I welcome OEM finally giving long updates.

            Price and specs plus all accesories in box are good.
            165HZ screen far better than Samsung and other competitors.
            Many else far better too.
            Dont see a single reason why to buy costlier device which apart maybe a bit better CPU offers nothng worth the price.

              Don't get the flip Razor Motorola because they don't do frequent software updates. Motorola has a very terrible software update track record. I have the Galaxy S24 Ultra and it comes with frequent software updates with 7 years of OS support.

Motorola don’t offer the frequent software updates you’ll be used to from your iPhone. And their software is buggy too, they don’t fix bugs. Pretty shocking that people accept this behaviour from Motorola, their devices aren’t even that cheap! Samsung are good with software, so they’re worth the slightly higher price tag.
