The viewing angle argument beats me all the time, why would you want everyone near you see your screen? What's your purpose? And yeah, Quality ips LCD have no problems with viewing angles, but let:s go further... way less eye strain, cheaper, more natural colors and longer lasting while consuming lesser battery, in contradiction to whatever people think, amoled consumes way more battery then ips lcd, wanna know why? Cause their is nothing pure black in android, ios or in their apps, with the whole screen turned on, ips kicks the hack out of amoled, and not even trying. Last but not least, amoled in budget phones can be quite garbage, and amoled burnes in, so there you go, why ips lcd might actually be better.

            Wish it had IPS LCD instead of AMOLED then it would have helped in cost cutting and also because IPS being a superior technology compared to AMOLED.
