2 yrs of os updates. Better get Galaxy a25s instead lmao

It's a shame they didn't make this a rugged MIL-STD810 phone with real water protection. The design is exactly made for it. It would be a great all-round phone for city/adventures. Without it it feels "unfinished".

It's a little hypocritical to talk about longevity of device, when I can't use my 3.5 jack headphones, that actually outlived many phones without a port.

Only thing I can complain about is mono speaker and lack of ultrawide camera. Other than that, it's quite good for the price, especially the software.

PS: somehow, it's stated to get 3 os updates and 4 years of security updates on my site (SG).

"The removable panel also facilitates other repairs, potentially expanding the phone's lifespan."

And then they give 3 years of support...big fail
For a bit more pixels and samsungs now give 7 years, this should have had at least 5

The IP rating is ,as always, irrelevant , cause no repair shop is gonna repair water damage on a phone

The price is very competitive, you rarely get a phone at this price that is powerful, which is one of the selling points of this phone... the removable back also makes it unique.

God I wish it had wireless charging, it would be the absolute perfect phone for me. Even if I'd just use it for two years. Might still get it.

David 040882, 08 Jul 2024Meh, I'd rather pay a few more bucks and get the Phone (2a).I think it has its place tbh, many people want a phone with a removable plastic back, not fragile glass. It's more durable and you can replace the battery easy. A lot of people want more functional designs instead of features, but the low water resistance is kind of a drawback for such a phone.

30 bucks for back cover geez
You can buy a whole new phone in my country with that money

What's the point.. when we can't replace the battery on our own like old smartphones a decade ago which used to have user replaceable batteries. So we could keep spare batteries in various scenarios like travelling etc 🤔

                                  Very good for its price.

Kinda doesn't feel cheap enough at 240 euros to really warrant it over the Nothing 2a which you can get for 299? Only 2 years of updates? idk man.
