They ended up placing safety nets around the foxconn factories to stop people from jumping to their deaths. foxconn is ironically a Taiwanese company and Apple is American, both in China to exploit the cheap labour.

                  Samsung main family which founded this company 90 years ago earns a lot more than 90 years ago ,Basic staff not so much.

                    For doing litterary nothing but devising new boring events and adds in TVs or Radios samsung Ceos does not deserve money they have.
                    If all the staff will quit and nobody would do samsung phones, they Samsung either employ robots which will not surrender nor ask for breaks, hollidays or extra salary.
                    Or rage quit from market.
                    Either way i honestly dont care.

                    Compared to many of you guys i am not interested to see litterary same thing every year with just bit better CPU and GPU but worse in everything else to save the BOM cost and increase price for bigger difference between manufacturing and final selling price.
                    Anyway no thanks.

                      Brand new A55 was 550 no charger in box, no screen protector no case compared to competition like Xiaomi for example.
                      Even now for example Redmi note 13 pro plus can be bought for a price equal to A35 and offers way better price, specs and value than A55 samsung which cost 200 more in some regions.

                      For example find me one device from other brand dont need to be samsung which offers better specs for same price than this phone from xiaomi. new unlocked with all neccesary accesories and 2 years of warranty.

                        Motorola 50 ultra for example is 800 eur in my country for 16GB ram and 1TB storage.
                        Equal specced Samsung phone is 1600 euros and no accesories in box no charger, no case, no screen protector etc.
                        If you call an overpriced phone a good price your salary is either out of the roof or in your country there is no other vendor to pcik from so you buy only Samsung phones even knowing competition have a much better offer.

Like it or not, people always tell you about stories from their work place and there haven't been many complaints from the Chinese companies, most probably because they might have some government funding to help in paying workers or something due to the companies' wide reach.
