Not all people like their phones to be flashy, pretending to be some kind of luxury with golden details and such. At least they could offer one variant with more subtle colour choice for the back cover and camera island.

besides even if that were true that guy is still right, the s designation is for lower tier soc so it's still weaker than normal 7 gen 3 let alone 8300

Weirdly enough most of them still recommend Xiaomi 13T the most for Eid al-Fitr because Realme 12 Pro+ SoC is that horrible. I think they got paid to say SD7sG2 is somehow better than DM8200U...

It's sad that this phone got great potential with that kind of cameras but they decided to cripple it by pairing it with lower-midrange SoC like that. 7s Gen 2 is literally just SD6xx without naming BS, Dimensity 8300 is literally 3x more performant that this!
