They aren't as hard pressed to sell millions like the bigwigs who are viewed as failures if they sell 100k less units than their previous models.
Apple has no budget models while Samsung low ends are trash.

The midrange gap in price is nearly double. While the Samsungs in the price range of Nothing CMF1 are all trash.

And people love "Nothing" products for what they are - weird in the best possible way. Why do you even care? Just buy the next iPhone, which is kinda the same like the last one and leave the weird phones to users who appreciate them.

Idk why my comment was blocked but yeah Samsung is overpriced in India A55 sells ts the same price as one plus 12R and A35 is around 330USD when converted. CMF 1 costs 190USD
This phone is made for Indians as they use a Different QR system for payments instead of NFC hence the success

Also I feel dimensity 7300 is much efficient processor than the heating 1380 exynos.

For those who ask why people avoid A35 compared to cmf 1, surprisingly Samsung is overpriced in India when compared to European or American pricing
When converted from local pricing,
A35 costs ~ 330USD
A55 costs ~ 510USD (Oneplus 12R costs ~480USD)
CMF 1 costs ~ 190USD without any offers
Sure they could have given OIS instead of non existent 2mp camera but that would mean cannibalizing sales of nothing 2a which is priced higher
And NFC? India doesn't use NFC payments, almost 90% payments are done digitally using QR systems everywhere.
This phone is targeted mainly for India
