The 9 is barely any smaller than the Pro XL. What a waste of hardware.
If you're options are a gigantic phone and a slightly even more gigantic phone, you might as well just offer one size.
Not that I expected Google to ever deliver good hardware, but it's an annoying OEM pattern. They pretend to give us "options" but in reality they're not options at all.

We wait for Tensor 5 on TSMC to see if it's a game changer.

It's still smaller than the s24 ultra! Now that Apple will make the leap to a 6.8-inch panel, according to rumors!!! I hope next year's pixel 10 also comes with that screen size for those of us who like large panels.
