Want reading at all just commenting on what I thought was a review but was simply an overview announcement. Oh well

Still wears the review already lol

Although LDAC is capable of higher bit rates, it's widely known in the industry that LDAC is unstable at 600/990Kbps bitrates & heavily prown to chopping even with minimal bluetooth/WiFi/microwave (food cooking)interference. There really isn't much correction in such situations w LDAC

Anonymous, 16 Jul 2024No clue what you are smoking but SSC in these has higher bi... moreI haven't seen many verified sources claim that the Samsung codec can reliably provide high bitrate audio. Also, I didn't even mention LDAC, I just mentioned lossless audio and the main thing is that the shown numbers are the HIGHEST the codecs can reach. Not the ones they can sustain, they are variable and the connection can break from time to time so sometimes they can be quite conservative. Regardless, I'm not one to talk about codecs as I'd be fine with a 320 kbps output but what the problem is, is the fact that these codecs jump up and down a lot. Audiophile testers I trust already tested a lot of TWS and have some opinions on them and the fact of the matter is that either the bitrate isn't enough for a proper hi-fi experience or they just don't have enough resolution/resolving ability. This won't change stuff up that much unless the new drivers are completely different. Oh and btw, I was talking about how the other guy was mentioning sample rates and going off about stuff, what's your point?

And besides, I haven't seen any proper reviews about this TWS as it's new, can't talk about it much. I've bought a number of audio products based on suggestions from audiophile reviewers so I have an idea about their tastes and what quality they say is "good".

                  Weak!!

What kind of article is this?

I expected just as much from macrumors.com site = a pure house of Apple fan boy pp-steoking site lol.

Here just to prove how equally lazy theie editor is to ours here

                  Absolutely:
No mention of the blade LED customization options if any?
No mention of the blade LEDs have more than 1 colour?
No mention of how sensitive the Ambient function is - which Samsung SCREWED UP ROYALLY with February's FW update. It's far TOO sensitive on the subway every damn stop announcement interrupts my music ot class Teams session!
Every little stroller noice again interruptions. Some others voices too and theie 5 ft apart from me !!!!

These buds support Samsung's own proprietary audio codec [something called SSC, right?] which even fewer phones support than say, compared to LDAC. Eitherways, it wasn't great to see Samsung just taking a leaf out of Apple's page and making cheap Aliexpress version of Airpods.

I'd take Creative Labs xMEMS over these

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2024TL;DR: "Samsung delivers the best package to delive... moresure buddy, whatever you believe. Samsung's codec can't even match a lossless FLAC and they're saying they're targeting 96khz which sounds like a huge number but means nothing, sample rate does nearly nothing for the listener. 24 bits don't help either. It's all about bitrates

"best package" my a*s. Imagine being so deluded that you think that way/ force yourself to think that way to support your daddy Samsung lmao.

I'm not pretending to know this, I'm talking from hundreds of hours of tests I've done and discussions I've had and seen with professional mixing engineers, producers and also audiophiles. I mix music myself, so I know a thing or two about quality. Better quality headphones don't make you a better mixer but they allow you to hear more things easily. That's what I've noticed after using a few different audio products.

And you think real life consumers are more intelligent? They may be intelligent in their own field but not in the mobile space, which they don't care about/even if they do, they only care about superficial things like the brand name or something.

"Samsung delivers the best package to deliver the sound you buy from the data file to your ears, so sound quality isn't important. Mwaaah".

If you wonder why Samsung is the biggest brand, even in the US now, it might be because real life consumers are a lot more intelligent than you want to pretend they are.

JohnSalamii, 14 Jul 2024'' they choose to just go for the things that are... moremy dude, people are so gullible you just need to point out the obvious to make a point here.

People don't think in terms of actual features, they just want to know they have more features and that it's from a certain company that everyone uses. That's it. Look at the Samsung fanboys here defending each and every marketing BS. Idk what your point is but I didn't say anything wrong by pointing out the obvious. Blinded by the corporate BS you guys face, you just blindly go support the brand. Look at the number of Apple fanboys and Google fanboys, it's crazy.

DeepIn2U, 14 Jul 2024False! 1 the battery is bigger in each pod and bigger in... moreit doesn't matter if the buds can play lossless wav files if the drivers themselves aren't that great. The frequency response need to be good to complement the drivers and it seem that it'll affect the technical ability. I hope the technical chops are great but I don't think it's gonna be much better. Just marketing speak. KZ has numerous drivers in their 20 dollar IEMs, are you gonna say they're better? They can play completely lossless files, is that a huge thing?

Do you even know the benefit of Hi rez audio? No one needs more than 44.1k, the sample rate is only important in music production where pitching sounds up or down requires more info or something. Having double the human audible range (20-20khz so 44.1k is more than double that) is enough for a good listening experience. What you need is good codecs that allow you to PLAY higher bit rates. It doesn't matter if the file has 40000khz sample rate if the bitrate is gonna be 128 kbps. Do you even know what you're talking about?

"the battery is bigger " So what? The drivers are bigger, bigger battery is needed. The end battery time is rated the same by Samsung which has been on the mark since the original buds.

What's your issue man? You wanna support Samsung go for it, but don't talk about stuff you know nothing about. Classic case of someone who fell for the marketing BS. Good job.

1 the battery is bigger in each pod and bigger in the charging case - gamrena already previously reported on this and our editor here failed to properly do a spec historical check!

From 44 to 96Khz HI Res Audio support is a HUGE upgrade!

Dual-Spealers and dual amps also a HUGE uograd over Buds2 Pro!!

10.5mm drivers again a huge plus.
