This shouldn't be a problem unless the phone's thermal design is terrible. There are also bumper cases (cases where it's only the frame) if you want to consider thermal performance. Plus with a case, if the phone gets hot, your hands stay comfy away from the heat.

          justasmile, 17 Jul 2024Can the case help with heat conductivity? No.Do most people take that into account? not really. Let's not forget we're talking about a phone with the SD 7 series. Most phones with this chip use a combination of plastic and glass notably the Redmi Note 13 Pro, Vivo V30, Poco X6. On top of that, people put cases on these phones. That's DOUBLE THE INSULATION and Hoyoverse/CoD/Moba games runs fine anyway.

          People have gamed on phones with weaker chips with a case. The perceived performance difference of a better chip is bigger than that of better cooling.

          Either way, it's a nice phone, I don't believe in the advantage of metal phones considering the little difference it makes on everyday usage.

            I Am GoD 9, 16 Jul 2024Who says most use a case..Observe your surroundings. If you go to school, you'll see most people use cases. Unless they're rich enough to treat phones as disposable, they take good care of it or their phone isn't that important to them.
