All bark but little to no substance to back it all up. That's the issue with such fanboys nowadays. I, for one, don't align sides and am also not that tech savvy, but MediaTek has already proved themselves as a strong competitor in the field.

Samsung has been doing this for a long time, for example 1080p 120 hz only on the S20 Ultra, 12 GB of RAM from S22 Ultra onwards, Alienware AW3423DW being the first QD-OLED display, Sony's A95K being the first QD-OLED display to have a heatsink, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra's GN2 and Xiaomi's 108 MP cam from Samsung back in the day, Vivo's X80 Pro's GN V and so on.

          Samsung usually isn't the first to adopt their own tech. Rumors say they're having trouble with their chips so it'd be impressive if they manage to make stable chips with the latest stuff as well. The safest route is to go for Mediatek. They're nearly as fast and efficient as Qualcomm and they are already collabbing with Samsung. Global Mediatek chips on Samsung phones with no changes in any regions is a dream come true for me, one less thing to complain about (unless they use something like a midrange chip on the S25 for example lol).

            2. Arm don't allow manufacture to mix its core with custom one, and nowadays they deal direct with Oem, if you use Cortex A720 then you have to use other arm cores and Mali Gpu. if you use Oryon then you have to provide your own solution not use arm one.

            There is a reason why Qualcomm is going full custom, Mediatek is using Full arm, Samsung is ditching Rdna2 etc.

                    1. Arm does NOT make cares and they have separate licensing for manufacturers to use custom cores based off their dedign! This has been the same every year for over 2 decades:
                    Apple
                    Qualcomm
                    MediaTek .etc etc

                    There is NO stopping anyone from licensing for custom iteration of their staple core designs! Bare NONE!

                    Next, Qualcomm X Elite and X processors do NOT use a lot of power the highest threshold is 80W on the top 2 SKU's which is ONLy under heavy GPU load mostly when gaming. Its THE industries top efficient SoC save for the Apple Silicon M3 and M4, period!

                    X and X Elite use Oryon GPU which we will see an iteration in the 8 Gen 4!

                    Please do your research vs talking false!

                                    Gaming wise sd 8 gen 3 is still better especially in highend Emulation.

                                      The issue with 8 gen 4 is lack of small cores, Arm nowadays don't allow to mix Custom cores with its core, and Qualcomm Oryon cores aren't for mobile, we saw Snapdragon Elite in PC they use lot of power, it will be hard to use them in mobile, there is rumors 8 gen 4 use lot of power, that's why Oems look for alternative, maybe next year will be year of Dimensity.
