it's like calling OneUI is good, that's true for the higher end stuff, but lower end like M series and stuff like that it's as crappy as MIUI, and the opposite is true, higher end MIUI is as good as OneUI, only the icons and how it looks are different
that's pretty much confirmation bias, most people only ever used lower end Xiaomi so they only assume the expensive stuff is as bad as the cheap one
and the opposite is true, most people commenting about OneUI only said it's good because it's in S24 Ultra, but I don't think they ever commented about cheaper Samsung which is as crappy as Chinese phone software-wise but also worse in hardware
as for brand recognition, most savvy buyer don't care about that, they either buy whatever crap their provider shove down their throat or researches which phone has the best value
there's reason why it's called Xiaomi.eu rather than Xiaomi.us, it's pretty popular in Europe

The second part of your comment i agree that Samsung brand is more known.
Software is only for the really sensitive tech keeks problem and that is really minor part of the market. People who have been on Samsung devices for over decade will stay with new devices too cause they dont want to relearn the software on a different brand device.

Yet another flip phone with a weird design choice. Those camera circles are in the way when interacting with the cover screen, which leaves smudges and fingerprints. So far only Magic V Flip done it right.
