Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 in India are up 40% compared to the previous gen

The Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 have smashed the pre-order numbers of their predecessors, making them the most successful Samsung foldables in the country yet.

    There is already confirmation it is selling better than the Z5. I'm not sure why everyone is shocked. Many people with a Z4 held out. That's why Z5 sales were lower. Those folks will be buying the Z6.

          Same thing where I live, they raised the price by about $500 compared to last year.

            Samsung selling more devices with minimal changes with even higher prices.
            This isn't a good trend at all.

            Im not against samsung but their strategy to maximise profits at cost of user experience & value is the issue.
            Since smartphone market has reached a point of stagnation then atleast they could make efforts to polish their software experience,aftersale support,making tech affordable.

            But profit matters most so can't expect any good at this point.

                Impressive! Especially in a very price conscious region.

                Falsified marketing stunts in such a market NEVER drums up sales. Never!

                This isn't Falsified marketing can't understand why someone would even think of this.

                Peter much better editing! Indeed we need to see launch quarter sales on a global scale to see if Samsung can match their %10 increase YoY expectations. October we'll see the results as September is end of 3rd Qtr and Samsung will have missed almost an entire month releasing just 5 days left of it.

                If its a tight deadline we'll see some big collaborations for the Z Flip 6 like we did last year on the 5th iteration- yet with only 1 custom so far I think Samsung usually waits for products 2nd full qtr before going gangbusters doing that.

                    Is it really true or is it a marketing strategy to attract customers.
                    May be because of lack of security trust on chines phones. but, samsung pricing is really pathetic in India. Hope, now a days, Apple is good at pricing their products.
