Nothing Phone (2a) Plus launch confirmed for July 31

This will be an upgraded version of the 2a mid-ranger, but the company is keeping quiet on the details for now.

For every other company "plus" means the same thing but bigger. Original 2a is 6.7 inches so either nothing is releasing a weirdly named tablet, or they're doing something different with the plus moniker

    can't wait for a Nothing Phone(2a) Plus Squared to be the sequel to this phone

            I doubt it's a chipset change given the optimisation they did for the 7200 Pro. I doubt camera change. Maybe wireless charging (not that I think that's useful or worthwhile to make it a plus model).

              User. Hi., 18 Jul 2024carl's cooking! let him cook!!! Lol, I agree. This is a pleasant surprise. But it's probably a US version of the phone. Would have preferred the phone 3 coming out so that the phone 2 would be cheaper as I would either get that or the 2a.

                Nice, more and more phone... Nothing makes a good phone recently.

                  If they had plans for 2a plus, they could have just made 2a slightly on the smaller side, 6'2 or 6'3 would have been great

                    I'd prefer if it was called the Phone (2R).

                    I feel like it'll be what the OnePlus R series is to the flagship OnePlus number series.

                      Was about to purchase an open box Nothing 2a today on eBay for about £285. I had another tab open on Reddit and saw this announcement which someone had pasted from Instagram.

                      Closed the eBay tab immediately XD
