I hope they fail. Expensive phones with old specs. Not acceptable.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2024Wow, the number is pretty low. I expected something like 95... more95% ? Get real. Would you be able to name a manufacturer that enjoys 95% market share just because they are domestic? Apple doesn't in the US, they have 58%, so I'd say Samsung is doing pretty well in Korea at 75%. Without strict tariffs and imports on other countries, very, very few manufacturers of any product would enjoy a 95% market share.

iOS lags in market share and Apple is down 25% in China. Apple is not growing like you claim.

    Class dismissed.

lol, is anyone even surprise? L
Last year Fold5 fell by 40% in pre-order numbers in Korea; now this year it fell another 11%; looks like Samsung is doing such a great Job; keep up with the skinny remote control front panel aspect ratio, same cameras, same battery, No s-pen slot and just do minor change like chipset only and see how many more years you can pretend to fool anyone in to buying one.
I refused to buy Fold 6 even when I could get one for half price using trade-ins and coupons (no BS)! We will see how it will go for the remaining 2024 when all the other competitors Xiaomi, Oneplus, Oppo, Google which beat Samsung hardware and design hands down (unless u only care to buy for Samsung software only).
I can virtually guarantee 2024-25 will be disaster for the Fold6 & I will eat my shoes if it does not fall more in the coming months with foldable global releases of Xiaomi, Google, Oneplus and hopefully Honor Magic v3 lol.
Keep up the same Samsung and Fold series can RIP.

Given the PRICE of these overpriced toys, and the state of the global economy, I'm NOT surprised.

A tool that helps us to do many things easier. A tool that's gonna be replaced after some amount of times.
So yeah, it's just a phone.

Although I don't see what's wrong with being loyal to a corporation that provides its customers with the best products possible. Plus, literally all humans are addicted to their phones, so it's become more than just "a goddamn phone."

What did you expect from a litterary same device with newer CPU and GPU but with much more price.
Garbage at most compared to a much better competition devices with way less bloatware inside and lot more specs.

Yeah, I don't know what's so "positive" about it. It's a goddamn phone. Normally, a human would buy it on the exact time when they need it, does not depend on the release date of the phone.

Last year's models are still worth getting in 2024. Only the Z Flip6 are worth upgrading from the Z Flip5. As for the Z Fold6, it's only worth upgrading if you come from Z Fold3 or Z Fold4.

guess people are aware of the poor durability of fold devices. experienced myself particularly the Fold 4, only used it for a year, waste of money.

It simply could be the case of the colour's choices OR in S.Korea , citizens there get a LOT of custom collaborations on these models as the year progresses = close to 15 variants in a year as shown in the past. That's when I think sales for these models will pickup in S. Korea.

Sad this site did NOt pickup the global news of pre-order numbers that are up 30% overall from last year.

There is nothing exciting about this year's incremental upgrade. I'm still waiting for a wider screen when closed and much thinner overall. I'll check in next year.

Pure conjecture from an e-waste user, but the three things most daily users are going to notice are battery size/charge speed and the camera. The camera was barely changed. Nothing with the charger.
