                Irregardless forcing people to buy bugger phones that are difficult to handle will soon affect sales as they peak globally. Now it's the Fold and Flip series left to accommodate after 2025 it seems

                Making me go through all this bs shop hunting all over again or stick woth what I have which is still pretty great for me.

                  This could foot a mud-hole in Samsung's Z Flip 6 sales internationally save for the UK where rain is very prevalent year round.

                  Samsung ... you're now on notice: Z Flip 7 needs serious upgrades especially that vapor chamber 3500mm! If this gets Android15 desktop mode and video output then Samsungs DUMB senseless decision NOt to include Samsung Dex is gonna hurt them or force their hand!

                      zoro6, 19 Jul 2024am i the only one who find the ultrawide is more important ... moreFor me the telephoto is a lot more important, the 23 mm wide lens is already too wide, I liked the old 27-28 mm lenses for the main cameras, now they are almost like ultrawides and distort way too much. I use the UW camera maybe 3 times in a year

                        I think these flip foldables are interesting in the way that they're more limited, we haven't had the telephoto vs. ultrawide debate since like 2019. By comparison regular flagships are so good that you're running out of things to improve on.

                              Unfortunately, Mix Flip is far less exciting that Mix Fold. It's tooo thick, quite bulky, lacks interesting design ideas, has a poor color choice, doesn't offer anything different than other similar devices on the market. Squarish edges makes Mix Flip and Samsung Z Flip looking like a bended in half regular bar phone. They should have called it Flop rather than Flip...Such a missed opportunity for Xiaomi. Why Flip type device manufacturers don't understand that these devices shouldn't be that thick and heavy, because it completely offsets all the advantages of foldable device.

                                    basically all my phones since early 2019(or 18 can't remember really) had ultrawides, i rarely used them, but used digital zoom multiple times and wished for telephoto/periscope on my phones every time, they're more useful than you'd think.
