just found the device in https://www.mi.com/in/product/redmi-pad-se-4g/specs
its even worst than expected. g85. no wonder the rest of the specs are bad. so im expecting it indeed $80-100. its absurd if the price is higher

Battery is small too and not to mention the screen resolution
And it will cost probably still around 200 euro

4GB of memory is its main weakness. Not enough in 2024, even less for such a bloated software like HyperOS.

8-9 inch tablets are one of the most useless categories. 3other get a 10 inch or a 6.5 inch+ phone. Why get something in the middle that performs worse than a phone AND has a smaller screen than a 10 inch

nowadays xiaomi start dumping all kind of hardware but their worse strategy is wi-fi version only for tablet then months later release a version with cellular connectivity. this why I don't buy chinese made tablet. 100% samsung tab series! everything is top with proper specs

On the other hand, you have much more choices for big tablets : lower end, mid-range and high-end. Why can’t we have the same variety of models for small tablets ?
