Oppo Find X8 Ultra to be thin with ultra-big battery

The find x7 ultra though is 9.5mm thick which is significantly thicker than the 8.6mm thickness of the s24 ultra. The find x8 ultra will also be thick but slightly less thick than the Find x7 ultra. Still it is impressive that they can increas the battery capacity by 1000mAh without an increase in thickness (and even make it slightly less thick than the previous generation). That is the improvement in battery technology.

Issue is higher end phones like to have flat sides now. Oppo is one of the few left that still use curved sides but we'll see with this new one.

It's not easy to use at all, coming from near stock ROG UI. Even samsung cannot display network speed at status bar. Korean battery tech and charging always two or three steps behind chinese company. Even hyundai EV cannot compete with BYD and other chinese cars.

Too thin is hard to hold so no, prefer thicker so I can actually grasp it properly

How long do you really want your phone to last for - in terms of charge?
1.4 days then you're screwed out ans about half way through your second day without a charge. Same way with a Samsung phone near the end of the day which will usually get charged then. Just like an iPhone (non max versions)
Whe you consider that what are you really gaining with huge battery if anything at all?
Mote weight maybe.
I'd rather Samsung bring 45-80W wired charging and 45W wireless Qi2 charging first, across the entire range.

so samsung was lagging behind at charging speed, cameras and now battery capacity too because they won't use silicon carbon battery in s25 ultra
my iq lowers for every guy keeps buying samsung
s25 ultra should cost 800 euro max given its hardware
