Z50 from 2023 is still on android 13. s21ultra from 2021 is on android 14, mi11 from 2021 is also on android 14. ZTE doesn't care about it's own customers at all, why would anyone care about ZTE?

Chen Wei Ming, 28 Jul 2024I have a Huawei Mate 20 X smartphone with a 7.2-inch screen... moreI wasn't aware something like this existed. Too bad the company joined the foldable bandwagon too.

Their Mate 20, along woth P10, was supposedly promised to get Harmony OS Next. I wonder if they're gonna include this.

Nik, 28 Jul 2024I have big hands and I am tall. I need a bigger phone. And ... moreAs a complete opposite person from you. I feel like all phones are too big for my hand 😭
Why there is no good bellow 6" phone anymore!?
I dont care if the bezels are thin almost nothing. But, at the end of the day it was still too big and heavy for my tiny hand to handle.

The problem is that ZTE rarely update is phones. I bought a galaxy s22 ultra and the same year a z30 ultra and while my s22 ultra has now android 14, my z30 ultra still has android 12, so this is a big problem for users of you buy anything from ZTE.

Nik, 28 Jul 2024I have big hands and I am tall. I need a bigger phone. And ... moreI'm not saying there shouldn't be big phones at all, but that a bigger phone can feel much more comfortable to hold if it isn't too boxy. Rounding the sides and corners a little bit can help out with that. And because it has no bezels, it doesn't exactly need to be as big as it is. This kind of design in 6.5-6.6" would still be plenty big enough

But wait star, hold up ... "Adreno 750 GPU clock goes up to 1GHz. Unlike the Red Magic cousins" but the gaming focused Red Magic phones (ALL) down get this?!

                    Did I read that right?!
Who in their right mind is too focused plucking the wild hair from their ass, making these thrive decisions?!!???

Chen Wei Ming, 28 Jul 2024I have a Huawei Mate 20 X smartphone with a 7.2-inch screen... moreGood choice back then. That's one rock solid unit that has been my daily driver for 4 years. Too bad the HW is getting antiquated by current standards and progress; I really miss the 7.2" inch screens on the current flagships. That made navigating on Google or Bing Maps and WhatsApp messaging such a breeze. Seems like the smartphone manufacturers collectively are too chickensh¡t to push that envelope any further, and instead rely on modest incremental upgrades as per mandate of the powerpoint&spreadsheet marketing jockeys to get their units sold.

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2024Not a single unit followed the 6.9in S20 Ultra? I have a Huawei Mate 20 X smartphone with a 7.2-inch screen size, which is quite large and very comfortable to hold, and so far, it has been durable and long-lasting.

Nik, 28 Jul 2024I have big hands and I am tall. I need a bigger phone. And ... moreThat's how it should be now. Smartphones in this era don't want to go any further, just revolve around rebranding the specifications, but rarely does anyone want to change the camera model or make the body skin more colorful or increase the size of the smartphone and have better battery life, this is still stagnant, there has been no improvement for 4 last year. for example, future smartphones that can change skins automatically like the Infinix concept, the size of the 7.2 inch cellphone that was once made but stopped being produced, the normal battery life with an 8k screen consumes power faster and can damage the battery life which can only last 8 hours, I hope there is an increase of over 20 hours with a 7000 mAh battery. This has to be a mobile phone revolution next year, if not this, your money is better off saving it

Hanif Fikri, 28 Jul 2024i don't care about camera and longer software updates ... moreYou probably haven't used a Nokia 8 with the measly 3000mAh Li-Po battery exceeding our expectations, then. Same with other Nokia phones that have a long standby time with the Li-Po batteries and exceptional optimization with the barebones stock Android.

Nik, 28 Jul 2024I have big hands and I am tall. I need a bigger phone. And ... moreMe too.
Have 1,72 metres have big enough hands to type even 4-6 leters at once on a small screen.
Small screens are competely useless for me.
Rocking Motorola edge 40 pro- Pure android experience was always my forte but this is my first and last phone with a curved screen because when using my phone often i touch the edge of screen with palm of my hands and will brings me somewehre else or back to a home screen from game etc.

Small phones are useless this way, same goes for curved screens.
My pockets are big enough to carry even small tablet inside but i dont want.
Tall and big phones were always my forte.

I used to used a 6.1" and typing was near impossible (had to use the swipe typing for long words because I WILL mistype otherwise). My 6.8" phone is great for me, my next phone will be a folding phone or just something the same size as this one.

And there are not any 6.9" phones out there. This is unfair. You guys have choices in 6.5 ,6.1 etch. I don't. And not only me. Many people. I have my friend, he is short and has smaller hands but he likes big phones. He had 6.9 before. I had too. Suddenly companies stopped producing. Now Apple makes the come back with 6.9" iphone16. I hope Android companies do the same...

30% will say it's expensive, 50% will say there are better flagships there, 20% will say just not for me and 10% will say depends on reviews

6.8" for a phone that's this boxy is just way too large. 6000mAh is nice but I'm not sure it's worth it if the phone feels like a big heavy slab. 6.5" would be better, though that's definitely not happening. I wish they'd at least shave off those corners a little bit
