Big deal, it's not worth passing up an OS with a lot more useful features (unlike that feature-OS running on iPhones) and an app store with a lot of free apps. The iPhone's value for money is low.

They noticed that brainwashed people only wanted phones that looked like iPhones so they made one. Otherwise, the Galaxy S and its successors are better than any iPhone that will ever be made. The best test for this so-called smartphone's performance would be to put Android OS on it and then run something like Linpack. The results would speak for themselves.
And don't call extra CPU cores useless. They increase the phone's performance dramatically. The Galaxy S4 is 4 times faster than the S3. And all those gimmicks may one day prove useful in some way. You never know.

It is a feature-phone OS. Why, then, pay a bag of money on a feature-phone, when for less money you can get a more powerful phone, with a true OS and a lot more features? In terms of value for money, a 300-Euro Android phone top-trumps any iPhone any day. The only advantage iOS has is that because it is so limited, it lags less often than Android. Lag is something we can live with.
You didn't mean to say that less features is more? That's a contradiction.

I phone size is a major unbeatable strength? Ignorant statement. Not everyone has the average size hands. If size is such an important "unbeatable strength", explain why people are buying large form factor phones? Couldn't be that they have bigger hands. Couldn't be that to some people it's more important to have a bigger screen. Naw, couldn't be that.
If all those "major unbeatable strengths" play into Apple's favor, then how is it that Apple is getting beaten Samsung (pretty much everywhere) and companies like Micromax or Huawei in their home countries?
I tell you what, you keep being a fanboy and make assumptions, resting on the opinions of other fanboys, I'll keep grounded on facts and reality.

However:
1. Its wrong to say iOS has less features then android. (They simply have different features and cater to different needs, each works better based on what you have at home/outdoors)
2. Its wrong to say MORE features = MORE value for money.. You will fall into the gimmick pitfall. (You should be-able to place different value for each features)
If you are able to put the "values" on the features, and understand everyone values them differently, you can understand why some pick iPhones, when you clearly see it as unworthy of the price.

I'm just using simple ratio and proportion between cash and feature; I believe you are simply trying to justify your purchase, good for you I'm not really trying to question your choice. And buddy I'm pretty certain that I did not question the performance, what I questioned though is the feature, what I'm getting overall will always matter specially if I'm going to pay a steep price.

Now you get that in mind.. why will you not "PAY MORE" for a OS that is smoother and faster?
Performance = Specs + Software.
If the OS is junk.. it pulls down the overall performance.
Web browsing is not the only slow /lag of android.. in fact all similar apps on both iOS and android, android always comes up worse. gaming/browsing/social.. and this is where the "value" of iPhone is shown.. and why people still continue to buy iPhones.
