BlackBerry (originally RIM) was THE security mobile platform when BBOS was around. When news of them bending backwards for the LAW to give up your credentials leaked from Apple and 3x change of CEOs unless than 12yrs along a dieing OS and potentially great one yet woth POOR delivery or working with developers vs forcing down their mouths ... DEAD! their only security in terms of cars really and that was due to an acquisition.
BlackBerry never made their own hardware to beself sustainable!
Samsung, Sony and Google are the ONLY ones. Except Google sells their software and services for free to the competition but uses end user data for ads and sells to multiple other, usually unknown parties to self sustain themselves.
Samsung Ana Sony sell hardware - various forms totheir competitionfor profit and for economies of scale ifchosen to implement them. And their VERY GOOD at it.
When Google took HTC they were toolate for theie many hardware expertise and prowess. HTC began life as an OEM to various carriers across Europe, China and Japan during the Microsoft Pocket PC and Smartphone Edition era and they definitely innovated their asses off!
Imagine a 7" tablet that had full blown windows but also a smartphone Os you van switch at will?! The VERY first with a detachable keyboard powered by the main unit?! And the tablet gave you full connectivity to external devices?! Yeah that was back in 2005!

Looks a lot like the OnePlus Nord 4!
With the exception of (for some reason) not coming with image stabilizer for the camera (even so, I'm not too worried about that, because besides not giving a crap about games, I don't take a whole lot of videos.) I'd still rather have the Nord 4!

The Green one looks exactly like an iPhone 12 Green version, even the flat sides ar slightly rounded. C'mon Google, why copy other brands when you just established your own "identity" with 6 and 7 series. I hope they will change this somehow for the 10th edition Pixel.

What new thing will Google offer that it raises prices so much? After all, their phones offer nothing extraordinary. Weak processors. Overheating SoC and the whole phone. Slow charging. Good cameras, but are they better than Vivo, Oppo, Apple or Samsung? This is ridiculous AI? xD
