ashrobb, 29 Jul 2024Meanwhile the Note 14 Pro 5G will use the Snapdragon 7s Gen... moreIf it was similar, they would launch with Snapdragon 7 Gen3....
the 7s gen3 will be a small update of the 7s gen2...in the end and a minimal difference in performance compared to the 7s gen2...

Everyone's mesmerized by synthetic tests, without trying the actual phone, which may actually perform pretty well.
This is the case with the Note 13 Pro+ and the 2a.

if they don't put a usable UW cam this is essentially DoA. Xiaomi doesn't have better software nor battery than the competition, they only compete with better cameras or performance and always have good speakers. The Nothing Phone 2(a) has a good UW cam so yeah, tough competition for Xiaomi.

The main cam being 50 MP maybe shows that Xiaomi's going for the 1/1.3" sensor that the IQOO 12 used or the one that the 13T used. If they use that then maybe I'd be willing to forgive the UW cam omission cus the larger sensor would lead to a far more usable 2x crop, leading to basically feeling like you have 2 cams on the back. But whatever the case man, the Poco series is a far more convincing one than the Redmi Note phones to me. The performance makes up for the battery deficiencies. The Redmi Note series has been lagging a bit now.

7350 is basically just overclocked 7200, so pretty much the same phone

This vs the Nothing Phone 2a Plus would be cool.

Meanwhile the Note 14 Pro 5G will use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (which should be similar to standard 7 Gen 3 according to leaks) and you guys have zero news about it!

So the Note 14 Pro+ is expected to be a sidegrade to the Note 13 Pro+, considering that the 7350 is basically an overclocked 7200 with a different GPU...
The other aspects of the phone will also decide whether it's a sidegrade or an upgrade...

and will be priced at 400-500$ -_-

They should've gone with D8250, D7350 is just too weak for Pro+ model. Since 11 Pro+, the performances are very similar.

brands have to abandon these recyclable processors, 7s gen3, dimension 7350... .... overclocked versions of the 7s gen2 and dimension 7200 Pro 🤢🤢
The processors had to be Snapdragon 7 Gen3, Dimensity 8300 Ultra....

Phone Critic, 29 Jul 2024Better give it a snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 14 Pro to have D7350 So they'll use the SOC everyone say is BAD
                      (no; it's not)

The Redmi Note lineup has been very disappointing for years now. The last good Redmi Note was the 11 Pro+ (D920 version).

Poco X and F series are way more competitive from Xiaomi.

Better give it a snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 14 Pro to have D7350
